I am a permanent resident living in Australia, originally from the U.k. Does my Australian born son who is two yrs need a visa to enter the U.k, its just for a holiday. Is there any other paperwork that i need in place for myself or my son?

You are still a U.K. citizen, so there is no way ou would need a visa. Your son does not need a visa either. Use the site below to verify this. Enter Australia for his nationality and U.K. for the destination and click for the info. you will see that it says no visa is needed.
