Does the US embassy in manila still gives a yellow slip to those with approved visas?

i was granted a US visa this oct. 6, 2008 but i was not given a yellow slip. it says in their website that a yellow slip will be given upon conclusion of an interview if visa is granted. does the US embassy still issue this yellow slip or they don't issue this anymore? all the consular officer said was that i was approved for a visa. after that i went to delbros courier services to arrange courier service. can somebody please enlighten me. thanks.

I've never heard of a slip being issued by American consular services, I'd call or email the consular desk at the embassy and ask for clarification.

The yellow slip was to let the courier company know that your visa was approved and to allow you to pay for delivery charges. If they accepted your word for this, then your name must be in a computer list that they can now access. Look at it this way, if and when you receive your passport with the visa, that is better than the yellow slip you are seeking**
