i was banned from driving 3 years ago for one year. But i am going to apply for my visa soon. I have checked the UK Border Agency website but it shows that

Driving Disqualification will not have to be shown once the disqualification period end.

But i just want to make sure about this. As the court does fine me as well but regarding the fines it shows spent time is 5 Years.

So i am confused. Please help me. As i will be applying for only 3 months as i am going back after the completion of my PHD.

The disqualification period ended 2 years ago so no need to show it.

It's a five year spent period and as you're still under that on three years. The points on your licence are three years usually, for three points, but you were banned from driving which is a severe crime because drink driving is stupid and I hope that they refuse you to stay here because innocent lives are lost because of that kind of stupidity.
