I take it your husband is currently trying to adjust to immigrant status based on the H1b. So, why would he cancel out? However, until you actually receive a green card, your status depends on his continued status, since as an H4, you are his dependent and he is the principle applicant. If he does abandon his adjustment and H1b visa, you would have no immigration status, unless you were able to change, based on your own qualifications for an H1b or whatever.
On the other hand, if he adjusts, you would also get a green card, as his wife, and that would be the end of it. |
