after the garuda air crash that killed 21 people,including 5 australians the federal will allocate the above amount of money to improve indonesian air safety.i would have thought the money could go to better use,comments?

Definitely, lets help the homeless, victims of domestic violence, drug and alcohol rehab, cancer research, palliative care, helping our farmers more through the drought, the mental health system, public health care, encouraging doctors into outback regions, the list could go on and on. My thoughts, charity should start at home.

I should think that there are many things our government could spend this money on at home.
