there is requirment of show them financial status. can anybody tell me that how much money i have to show them. i have a house on my name in very good location.my father is doing job in hindustan times as maneger.so what else i should show them . i dont understand. i mean how much money should be in my account.

There is no exact amount specified. Simply put, the cost of your schooling and living in the US should not be shown to be a financial burden on your sponsor.

Not necessary that the fund must be in your account unless you apply as self-sponsored.

If your parents or somebody else are going to be your sponsor, they need to have $$$ and must provide a bank issued financial statement to prove that.

How much..? Simply sum up all the expenses during the courses.. tuition fee, room and board, monthly expenses, transportation, health insurance, etc. and add up at least 1.5 times. The more... the better.
