There are some surprising differences in visa requirements for Romanian for each of the English-speaking countries. Australians and New Zealanders must apply for a visa to travel to Romania, whereas residents of the UK, Ireland, Canada and the USA do not.
The nationals of America, Canada, the UK and Ireland travelling to Romania for a short stay purpose (tourism, visit, business, transit, etc.) do not need an entry visa and they may stay up to 90 days within a six-month period. Those 90 days may be spread across one or more visits. |
