HELP! Where do I go to get my passport? I live in LA...?

I guess I need to go through the mexican consulate. I am a Mexican US Resident, does anyone know where and/or how I go about getting my passport. I am traveling May 25th!!! Do I have enough time? Could I process this online? Is there a short cut? Do I HAAAVE to go through those LONG humongous lines? Where do I start? Thx. This will be my first passport! :)

if this is your first passport? beware..........i am thinking? you could not have been born there in the US? otherwise, you would be a citizen?

YOU CAN ONLY OBTAIN A US PASSPORT IF YOU ARE A US CITIZEN. YOU NEED TO GET A PASSPORT FROM THE COUNTRY YOU WERE BORN IN.

PLEASE NOTIFY THE MEXICAN CONSULATE FOR FURTHER INFO.

Yes, you probably need to go stand in those long lines at the Mexican consulate. Check their website to see what you need to bring, so you don't have to do it twice.

Check their website, too, to see if there's a faster way.

BTW, how did you get to the US w/o a passport?? Oh. I see.

OK you say US resident the you should also have your old passport you have to physically got o Mexico embassy or consulate to obtain you renewed passport

If you are a US citizen then all you need to do is apply for a passport at the U.S. postal service

You actually can get them at any post office or online! and i think you can send in any picture you'd like!!!! and wait, you live in LA or Mexico? because in USA its much easier, but In foreign nations its a little tougher... hope this helps!! good luck! :)
