Happened to me one, I'm an Indonesian citizen, I was robbed when I visited Cape Town. My bag, wallet, credit card, IDs, Passport all gone, but then I went straight to the Indonesian Consulate and told them all my problems, they reported my case to the South African Police Service and Department of Foreign Affairs, the Embassy then make a replacement for my passport, they help me recovering my credit card, problems solved in 3 days.
So if you've got a friend who's foreign nationals and being robbed, tell them to contact their Embassy or Consulate ASAP.
ps: if they asked you to send money like those stupid nigerian did, it means they have ID to receive the money right?if they have ID, how come they claim they've been ROBBED??????? |
