Hello ... I need some advice ... I just got engaged and my fiancee is living in Haiti, and my question is ...?

should I start on the K1 Visa process or should I try to move to haiti, my main concern is that I may not qualify for the financial requirement that they asking for..and it seems to be a long and stressful process..what if they deny him..

And at this point living in america is becoming very scary , you just never know..
Please share any info ... Thank you.

Hello, I started reading your question and I thought it would be a friend of mine who has proposed to a Haitian girl. He is in America and has very low income. Last year around April he filed a fiance visa for his future wife who is in Haiti. The immigration department sent documents back and forth to him and his girl in Haiti and they kept responding as much as they could. Now finally, the girl has been approved for the visa and just waiting on the embassy to give her the passport. After she collects her VISA - she HAS to leave Haiti in like 3 weeks (or something like that). When she enters US they will have 3 months to get married so she doesn't have to go back to Haiti.

Hopefully this was helpful! By the way, Haiti in my knowledge is more scary than living in america. Just an advice... oh yeah - what you can do is go to Haiti and get married there and then bring him to U.S. too in that way, the U.S. Government HAS TO let him in (find out more info on this).

you will have to qualify financially first of all, depends on your income?
as far as the US and Haiti? no comparaison.US has much more to offer.
if they deny him? go to Haiti..

from what i hear it would be way scarier to live haiti than america.

i dont think america is scary at all. you probably have more rights and protections in america than you would anywhere else in the world.
