i m going to america permanently,,,, but i got refusal letter from us embassy under section 221 g. i have all required documents but i dont have voter id card. voter id card only can make after 5 years..and i cant wait for 5 years.. what should i do plzzz help....thankx

You weren't refused, your case was put on hold. however, why would they want a voter id card from you? doesn't make sense. perhaps you misunderstood what was wanted or maybe they wanted a voter id card from the petitioner or a joint sponsor. so, go ask and make sure you know what they really want. |

Did you go to US consulate for Visa?
You should have following documents
1) Sponsor letter from your relatives in USA
2) Apply for visitor's visa
3) You must prove that you are going to come back to India. For this you have to show your Bank balance, property in your name
4)If you are going for higher education then produce letter of the University in USA
How that US embassy refused on the ground of no voting card?
Best is to contact expert tours and Travels office who deal in issue of visa. Find ads in news papers.
