I will be having my oath taking ceremony since I passed my US Citizenship , i dont know what to wear. any ideas or experiences? thanks

Congratulations! I would go conservative. If you are a male: dress pants, dress shirt and tie. If you are a female: dress pants/skirt and a blazer or nice dress shirt. For government things I usually wear navy blue and dress to impress and feel good about myself. You have done something to be proud of-show it:-) |

this day is very important, and one must be proud, i would suggest to be very conservative,color coordinated, nothing flashy,since summer is finished, no summer outfit ,no jeans, that goes without say,no tennis shoes,neatly combed,
no high heels,(to be comfortable)show yourself proud, and have a good time,
smileeeeeeeeeeeeeee ? pic taken !

COngrats!!!!!!!!!!! You need to wear a formal attire on your oathtaking. But, for what I've noticed.......some people when they do their oathtaking, they wear their native costume from their origin, cause that day is the time you change your nationality, its exciting but it's a little sentiment.. cause your leaving your original nationality :)............ |
