Help with visa! URGENT!!?

Hi my partner is albanian and we are going to spain. he needs to get a schengen visa however the waiting time at the spanish embassy is 6 weeks and this is not good, can he get a schengen visa from a different embassy and still travel to spain???? please help

Yes, he can get the visa from any other Schengen area country and be able to travel to Spain. The only thing is that he´ll have to justify that he´ll spend the most of time in the country where he´s applying the visa. So much the better if you have a contact there (say in France) that could write him a letter of invitation allowing him to stay in his place. Otherwise you might need to book a hotel/apartment there.

These countries belong to the Schengen zone: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, and Sweden. if i were you i'd choose France as waiting period in that country will take you 3-5 days.

Usually you can travel within Europe but he won't have leave to stay.
