he lives illegally.where and how should we complain,against this matter.in india we have special cell for deserted wives.how to approach them at ministry of overseas affairs,is a police complain needed,first.can we directly go to US consulate.
we left a phone complain regarding his illegal stay in US ICE,and emailed CBP and uscis .its 1 month but still no response from us govt.when will the govt start investigating.in the meanwhile what action can i take in india..please help

First of all, if your husband really did desert you, I'm very sorry. We should be beaten with sticks and made to support you for life, or at least until you remarry (If that's possible in your culture).
Second, reporting him to the local consulate was the best you can do -- I hope you proivded as much information as possible, including full name, date and place of birth, passport number, etc.
BUT -- you need to realize that a consulate gets a lot of "poison pen" letters for a lot of different reasons (some noble, some not so noble), and they may not have the inclination or resources to go after him. |
