How can I petition my mom?

My mom from the Philippines and I came here as a fiancee visa then when I am a US citizen soon, what visa right for her? Is it ok to ask a relative to be with her in the interview and medical in Manila because she cannot understand English and Tagalog (it is really hard for her). I really want my mom here in the US as a permanent as soon as possible. Is there's any way that someone assist her in the final interview (to go with her inside the Embassy Manila for an interview and medical exam)? She is 56 years old. TNX!!!!

After you become a US citizen you file the following forms with the USCIS... I-130, I-864 and G-325A.

Your mother qualifies for an IR-5 Visa. There is no wait for this type of visa. It will take at least 12 to 18 months from start to finish.

If she can't speak English or Tagalog well then she can bring a person who does speak her dialect to translate. Make SURE that person REALLY understands ENGLISH.

Yak Rider is right. however, there are so many different Filipinos working at the consular section in Manila that they can usually find someone there who speaks Ilocano or whatever. If it's something really unusual, let the immigrant visa section know first, so they can arrange to allow an interpretor to attend. otherwise, they may have problems just getting inside the embassy.

Yes, if she cannot speak or understand English, she is allowed to bring someone with her to act as an interpreter.
