How can I replace a lost birth certificate from Ukraine?

I recently tried to obtain a US passport through the naturalization of one parent. I needed to have my foreign birth certificate (Ukraine) with a raised seal and unfortunately my parents have misplaced this document since I moved here when I was only 1. How can I replace this in order to get a passport for travel abroad?
