How can i attest my salary certificate issued from u a e?

as i want to take a loan from bank in india,bank people need my salary certificate attested from consulate.when i called indian consulate they told it need to be attested from ministry of foreign affairs.so i want to know is it possible to get attested from mo foriegn affairs and wat all are the procedures and how much time and money need to spend for that,please its urgent!!!! speedy reply will be highly appreciated

If the salary certificate is in labor contract format (pre authenticated by the Ministry of Labor, UAE) you can contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for their attestation. Or if you need to attest the certificate issued by your companyâ€™s (employerâ€™s) official letterhead contact the Indian consulate with your salary proof (i.e. bank statement for three months, original labor contract etc), I believe the consulate will directly attest it. Submit the salary certificate in duplicate and copy of your passport to the consulate. Your personal presence with original passport is necessary. The fee might be approx AED 40.

p.s. Many banks in India will accept the salary certificate attested by the UAE banks. Check with your Indian bank first then contact their correspondent bank in UAE with your salary proof, to do so.
