at the time of my birth 1976 her passport was expired on 1965 so how can i get confirm letter at the time of my birth she was citizen of the united kingdom and colonies i am not stateless but mom was married before 1971

If you have her expired passport that's all you will need.

You must supply:

Evidence that you meet the requirements for registration

Please send the following documents:
Your passport; and
Your full birth certificate; and
Your motherâ€™s full birth certificate; and either
Her certificate of naturalisation or registration as a citizen of the United
Kingdom and Colonies (or, before 1 January 1949, as a British subject); or
Papers showing her legal adoption; or
Her expired citizen of the United Kingdom and Colonies passport
