Me too! From what I gather you get a job and they'll give you a temp. visa. From there you can apply for a regular visa and so forth. This site will give you specifics: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/index.asp

Look into provincial nominee programs at http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/provincial/apply-who.asp

If you qualify for one of the jobs on one of the provinces list, your work permit will be faster and you will get permanent residency faster.

If you apply for a regular temporary work visa, be aware that not all of them give you the right to apply for permanent status later.
