How can i obtain an orginal birth certificate?

i have misplaced mine and need it ASAP.
Please give me exact directions on what to do or website

Write or look up vital records your state web site.

You will need to go to the courthouse in the county you were born in and request another copy they will ask for some sort of id so make sure you have a drivers license with you and more than likely your social security card. If the county is in another state or too far to drive you can contact them and ask what they require to purchase a new one. Good luck.

The original resides in the courthouse of the county you were born in.

They can issue a certified copy.

Being a government organization it'll only happen fast if you go stand in their line. Other option is to request it by mail (with check enclosed) and wait.

well, idk how you can go about getting another, but it would seem to me that the word "original" would seem to point towards the one that was given at birth. You are looking for a duplicate.
