How do I get a Passport?

I have an australian passport, but I want an english one. I was born there and moved away when I was like 5. I got Ozzie citizenship through descent.
I've been to the post office, they don't seem to know....
How do I get my hands on a brit passport?

Being born in the UK doesn't mean anything by the way. You need to have a British parent who has British citizenship "otherwise than by descent". If you do then the site above will explain the procedure.
