How do i get a german passport while in the U.S. ?

my stuff got stolen, how do i get a new one and where do i go ?

You can go to the German Embassy in Washington D.C.; here is a link to their web page giving directions, phone numbers and e-mail address. http://www.germany.info/relaunch/info/missions/embassy/direx.html They have a Consulars Section there and can take care of a replacement German passport. They also have seven other Consulates located throughout the U.S.
Contrary to another answer; U.S. Immigration can do nothing to help you obtain a German passport.

I assume you are a geman citizen? if so go to the german consulate and if there isn't one that is close to you then go to the Immigration dept. in the nearest City to you and they will help you.good luck
