i am in UK and i want my friends brother to visit mehere next time he goes to her in spain to take him to a few places of interest here he has a visa but i now have to formally invite him like a sponser i think does anyone know what i have to do and how to do it. im begining to wish i never mentioned it but would really love him to visit as i cant get to spain this year.

no you are incorrect. You can only 'sponsor' someone to come to your country is if you are an employer and want that person to move to your country to work for you.
