My mother went for her interview at the US Embassy in Manila. The consular says "welcome and wish you good luck to the united states". She paid for the courier for her visa delivery. A few weeks later she got a letter from the embassy asking for additional Joint Sponsor, she sumbitted that and was told to wait for the embassy's call. She hasn't heard from them and it's almost one month now.

I understand your worry. Just be patient. If they asked her to pay for the courier and she got welcomed then most likely she's in. It usually takes a month or more for the next reply. |

The process may be slow, overwhelmed by the sheer volume of applications, but it seems to working in your favor. If you have not heard back in another week or so, contact the embassy to be certain that the additional information was received. |
