You gotta go up there... you have to pay a registration fee, and pay like $25 a month depending on which ymca. |

1. Visit the nearest YMCA.
2. Fill in an application form.
3. Pay the membership fees.
4. Get the membership card. |

Depending on which YMCA you want to join as not all have a gyms you go in ask for a form they usually have people there who will also sit with you and help you fill it out then you get a free period trial and tour and then when you feel its OK you pay the monthly fee and you will then receive a membership card.
But don't forget you may still have to pay each time you visit and they have alot more to offer then just the gym.
I used to be a member in the UK and i used to go to alot of other stuff that they had on offer.

If you put YMCA membership in the Yahoo! search engine, you gets lots of sites. Then pick the one that you want to join!
I believe the websites below link to all the others. The first one gives you a link you to worldwide YMCAs if you are on the web.
The second gives you a 'contact us' point. I have also included the link for UK YMCA's.
Hopefully you can find the one that is local to where you are! Then you can ask what to do next, if you have not already got the information you need.
