Am a nigerian i will be marrying an american woman here in nigeria. What would the u.s embassy require me to obtain a u.s visa after our marriage. is it possible for me to ge a u.s visa and how do i go about it ?

No. The spousal visa is initiated by the american spouse in the US. They first have to check if the american spouse is financially capable of sponsoring the alien spouse. Then they will send the approval of petition to the US embassy in the country of the alien spouse. Then, they will interview the alien spouse to check if marriage is real. Among other things.
