Just wondering i am from the UK, what form do I need i also have 3 children.

I used to go regularly to the USA , (once a month for a long weekend), and only ever filled in the visa waiver on board the plane.
This gave me 90 days but they didn't always collect the departure part of the form when I left, this was both pre and post 9/11.
If you do have a 90 day waiver you can always drive across the border to Canada or Mexico and come back a day or two later, a fresh 90 days will start from then. Just don't keep using the same border crossing every time. |

All above answers are correct about having a 90 day visa - however, this also depends what type of passport you have. My one was issued in 2001 (yes I'm also British) and I could not just fly in, I had to apply for a new "barcode" passport which you don't need any kind of visa on, immigration just staple a green card in your passport for the duration of your stay. On the old passports, you have to apply for a visit visa, which sometimes takes time, especially now with all the extra security. If you don't have a new passport, I strongly advise you apply for one! Have fun in the States! |

If you want to stay longer than 90 days you need to applly for a visa, other than that you dont need any forms. You just fill in a card for yourself and your children on the plane and thats it. |

Why on Earth would you wana stay in the US. The UK is a smaller country, but much better to live in. |

Under the Visa Waiver Program, UK citizens may stay in the US (but not work or attend school) for 90 days. You may also apply for a B1/B2 Visitors Visa (again, no work or school) and be admitted for up to 180 days. Enjoy!
Billie is right - you must meet all requirements in order to be eligible for the VWP, including the proper type of passport and no prior immigration problems in the US. |
