you will have to wait 1 year before you can petition your family.

Do keep in mind the waiting time is often long, but patience is the key.
Go to USCIS.COM for all the details

Petition for a permanent resident or a tourist visa? You will need to wait a year to file a permanent visa. A perm-visa will take years .You can view the processing times for the service center where you would file, according to the state you live in .

Doesn't really matter, it will take 15 to 20 years before they can do anything here. INS is currently working on 1995 petitions.
