How long does it take to get an expedited passport?

It depends on the country of your nationality but if you are in your native country, it shouldn't take longer than some business days. My parents got theirs in 2 or 3 days but you have to pay more for an expedited one. If you are not in your country of nationality and you have to apply through a consulate, it takes much longer as I know.
