I had a visit to the US, went there and stayed for about 25 days, now I want to get a new work visa, my sponsor doesn't know what to do to get me a work visa, and actually I am planning to get the green card, so any info will be useful.

I know if u find an employer here u can have him apply for a work visa invitation for u. This is the best way. Go to this site: it has alot of good info on it. Also u may want to contact an immigration lawyer... Good luck.... H visa requires your study related to your work field, and requires you have 4 year college degree. And for your sponsor, INS requests very details of company confidential information that some of companies may not be willing to explore.
And once this sponsor applied H visa for you, you stuck with this employer until you get a green card, if you wish to switch jobs, you need to know if your new employer is going to sponsor you.
I have know so many people are unhappy with their jobs, but due to this factor, they stuck with the employers.
Check with your legal adviser is necessary since quota for H visa run out very quick that you won't even believe it.

Go to the Homeland Security office and apply there. It might take a couple more months after that before you get your work permit. Are you sure you want to get a green card? To do that, I think you need to give up your citizenship in your country. I suggest you get a Permanent Residency card 1st. |
