HOw long does it take to get my italian passport through the italian consulate in Michigan?

Quanto tempo ci vuole a prendere il passaporto italiano invia il consolato Italiano di Michigan?

My case is straight forward, i am italian citizen, i already have been registered at our town hall in italy. Just basically getting my passport, straight forward.

The Italian Law on Passports (L. 21 november 1967 n. 1185) says that a passport should be issued within 15 days from the day in which the application was received. Only in case the issuing office needs to make further inquiries, this term could be postponed for 15 more days.

have to put the normal people to the bottom of the pile and look after the important people first...
