How long will it takes if my girlfriend will change her status single to married?

How long will it takes if my girlfriend had change her status single to married. she applied for a working visa to canada as single, her papers is on process.if her papers would approved she can change her status and tell the embassy that she got married to change her applicantion.this may take long for changing her papers?

She can make affidavit about marriage / can obtain Certificate of marriage from Govt..
