How many times can I use my US visa?

I am permanent resident of Canada and I got US visa which has expiration date of 2012. I am wondering how many times and/or how long I can visit US, because I am going there in a week and might need to go there again in a few months. (I applied for Canadian citizenship but that will probably take another 8 months or so). Would I need a new visa if I go second time?

You have a visa called multiple entry. That means you can enter the US many times and stay as long as you are permitted. Never overstay.

If you have a tourist visa, you can enter numerous times, as long as you don't stay longer than 6 months in the country. Remember, usually with a tourist visa you cannot work or study.
