I'm trying to find out what is reasonable since the lawyer we hired changed her fees and charged us way more than she had said in first place. She did no contract and has actually not filed, she only filled out some forms but the papers haven't left her office at all and we already payed. We live in Texas. I know we could have done it ourselves, but I'd like to know if anyone else did it with a lawyer, how much their fees were (only the lawyers, not Immigration Services) and if they feel happy with the service this lawyer provided. Thank you all in advance.

not sure why you hired an Attorney? do you mind adding why?
most of the time, people can do the paper work without an Attorney,but are not sure of procedures,
your Attorney probably just want your money,not all Attorneys are the same,but? they do prey on innocent people who do not know how to?so, to answer your question? i do not know what fees are or can be?never used an Attorney for immigration, i am an US citizen. |
