How to apply for US visa?

This is for a B2 visa. Ok. First find the US embassy nearest your location. Pay the application fee and get the receipt. Download the application, fill it up. Schedule an appointment. Bring the filled out application and all the supporting documents you will need to show the consul. You do have a passport now don't you?

I presume you mean a tourist visa. You must apply at the US embassy or consulate nearest to where you live. Every consular section works a little differently from the others because of differing space, personnel, customer demand and security restraints. In general, though, you must make an intervew appointment, pay the application fee, fill out the application form on line, print it and bring it with you to your interview, where a consul will decide whether or not you qualify for the visa.

I called for an interview at the US embassy, was given an interview date. I paid the required fee at the required bank..

Questions you are sked at the interview depends on the kind of visa you are applying for. In my case It was a student visa so it was like:

- Why did you chose X College
- Why Do you want to study (Name of program am studying)
- How will X program help you in your country?
- Why would you choose to study in usa at such expensive college instead of your country?

Accompanying documents included a bank statement, I-20, and many others....

The first question is how old u are and in what country u live. If u are under 16/18/21 your parents have in the most cases to apply for u. If u are older call first the embassy, they will normally than send u the papers u need and give u a date for an interview. For the papers, the interview and the "real visa" u will have to pay about $150. It is important that u pay this fees before u go to the interview.
That's how it was for me, but the best thing for u will p[probably be to call the US embassy first and they should tell u what to do.
