Log onto the US embassy/consulate website for the location that you are interested in visiting (for example type "US embassy New Dehli" into your web browser. Visa appointments are generally scheduled on-line. Other types of appointments are available by calling the contact numbers on the website.

Call the US embassy in your nation and ask. I don't know what the waiting time is for a response since most US embassies (thanks to Iran in 1979) are very concerned with security matters. You'll probably be investigated or "checked out" before you are able to even enter an embassy grounds. |
