Why would you want to take your family with you when you are the one who is studying in New Zealand??? This is often why visas are turned down once people start trying to bring all of their family over with them. It really is taking advantage of the system because what ultimately happens is that people after they have completed their studies apply to reman in the country bringing their wife, three kids, mother, father, sister and brothers with them!!!!

There were a few very informative Answers about how and from where you get 'get student visa' for NZ.

However, one of my friends has been doing these types of 'consultancy' for migration to NZ and I find him traveling a lot between Dhaka, New Delhi, Auckland, Wellington and even Australia and sending students and prospective migrants to NZ and recently to Australia. I know that there are lot of stories where some painful too.

Therefore, please do not pay any money till you check and cross-check the background of such Travel Agencies or Consultants.

Better, if you can manage time then visit the NZ HC in India and find out all the details by yourself.
