well ,our relative from the states a heart patient have had multiple surgery while in india abt two yrs ago was hospitalised here for sudden complications and prescribed certain critical/lifesaving medicines which have been effective and responding well to keep him alive todate, however it is now that he needs a refill of the indian medicines , and we hear the u.s customs discourages/disallow the import of medicines . recently i approached a courier people who want a u.s doctors, prescription which is not likely to b got cause u.s doctors dont encourage medicine import and otherwise the courier guys want clearance fm u.s customs,florida. so pls suggest how to send the medicines to florida ,u.s SOONEST IT IS A QUESTION OF LIFE AND DEATH ?????????????

Only a doctor can do this and this is done by

A prescription that is tell a faxed to a pharmacy in another country
.
The money to pay for it can be sent by wire to the pharmacy that is doing the fill of the doctors prescription
.
And there is a little red tape for the doctor to do and he has to know how to do it
.
Some times the doctor will get with a doctor in another country to wright out a perception for him or her
.
Rare case yours is for sure but it has happen on occasion a bag on a plane got lost or taken

Unless the "medicines" are approved by the US FDA, they will NOT be allowed into the United States.
Only drugs that are approved may be imported into the United States, and then only through appropriate importation procedures. If they are mailed or shipped with fraudulent shipping/importation documents they will be seized or delivered and then the recipient arrested for illegal drugs.
Your relative needs to see a doctor in the United States and get a prescription for a legal drug in the United States. |

Have your relative see a physician in the US! India has a reputation for drugs of questionable quality. Ergo importing drugs from India is difficult. We do have physicians in the US! I have to ask (as US customs is probably asking) why does he not see a US physician and get a prescription in the states? |
