How to speed up administrative review?

My husband was told his cr-1 visa would be given after 1 month. The counselor told him he was approved but was issued a blue 221g form to turn in our marriage certificate which they lost. He returned the documents they asked for and we are waiting now 2 1/2 months. I emailed Bangladesh embassy but got no response. Is ther anything else we can do?

honestly the time you are describing isn't very long...I am sorry to say that I know others that have been in the same place and waited more.
My suggestion, instead of waiting would be for the person who is a citizen/sponsor to email their congressmen/senator's office and ask for an official inquiry from his/her office. They may tell you that the time isn't much yet..but try to gently push them...keep emailing every week and call if you can to get the secretary's name. I know people who have had success from this. One person waited over a year for his wife in admin. review but she came about a month after speaking with the senator's office. the Embassy in Bangladesh will probably just tell you that they didn't recieve the paperwork yet...because CR-1's go through extensive background checks in NVC....more than the other spouse Visas, because its an actual immigration.
At least the senators office wil be able to check to be sure that the process is on track and nothing is "lost" or hung up again...
