Good people can not stand by and tolerate terrorism. We must get past Republican vs. Democrat, US vs France or even East vs West , West vs. Middle East.
Good people must confront terrorism.
Things get blurred even defining terrorism today. A suicide bomber is a terrorist. An attack at a Cafe amongst civilians for the purpose of creating fear is a terrorist attack. Acts by non-nation states such as Hezbollah and Al-Quaeda and the IRA should universally be understood as terrorist attacks.
The U.S. invasion of Iraq is not a terrorist attack, while civilians are hurt...that is not the goal of the action. One can argue for or against the War in Iraq...but it is not a terrorist action. |

You'll never totally eliminate terrorism. It's like trying to eliminate death. You can slow it way down, suppress it for period of time, but it will always be a reality. Even if America was turned into a police state, we'd still have the threat of terrorism. The leader of North Korea, the "Dear Little Dog-Eater" himself, has come close to being blown up a few times. In a super-restricive society. Terrorism comes in many forms, not just a bunch of crazy Islamofascists with a bomb. Common, everyday violent crime is terrorism. You're just as dead. Can we prevent crazy Moslems from lugging a nuclear device into the Dallas Cowboys Stadium and setting it off? Probably. Can we stop the same nuts from attacking a grade school and start pitching little rugrats off the roof? Not a chance. You have to give Bush credit for trying but the Dems hate him so much it's a lost cause, I'm afraid. |

Destroy politics the way it is. Chuck the idea of a few people ruling over the entire country. there r thousands of faults. terrorism today mostly exists cause of that. and contrary to beliefs terrrism is not bad but is a voice raised against wat a few feel wrong of course the voice sometimes turns very violent as in the case of numerous examples in the past. Any way for terrorism to be eliminated terrorists should be given a chance to express their views and the reality behind their acts must be brought to light which if not done is bound to result in terrorism as we fear it today
