How would one go aout getting a political job, can you please tell me the type of jobs available ...thanks !?

If you are interested in politics then study it or join a party that have the polices you believe to be the same as yours.
If you want to be a civil servant without belonging to a party then be independent and start in local politics in town councils, there are no very short cuts it is usually through the system starting with a lot of boring issues to be sorted. If you have a talent it will show. Not all countries have an Ambassador or consul. Trying not to get corrupted must be the hardest bit as everyone has to win friends but at a price. I think most countries have an ambassador in each country, I think.
Although for a job like that you'd have to have a lot of experience, first.
Try getting some work experience in first, or applying for an internship somewhere in the city - think tanks take interns. Just research and call around a bit if you're really serious, and they'll be able to put you on the right tracks.
