I'm a UK citizen through descent and have never been to UK. Do I need to visit UK before I become 18?

I got my British citizenship through my father. He is a British citizen, moved to Bangladesh and got me. I'm now 17 years. Though being a British citizen myself, I've never been to UK before. Do I need to go to UK before my 18th birthday? Is there any law stating that my citizenship will be canceled if I don't visit UK before I'm 18?

No. You just need to prove that you legitimately hold UK citizenship to have it. For you that would be your birth certificate, your parents marriage certificate, proof of your father's British citizenship (naturalization papers or british birth certificate) and his most recent British passport.

No, I do not know of such a policy and it would seem a bit ridiculous given that you were granted citizenship as a foreign resident
