Galicia is a region--not a country. (It never was an actual country). One region called Galicia is in Ukraine/Poland (the borders kept shifting--so Galicia is in both countries--but primarily Ukraine, I believe. Look up cities like Ternopil, Ukraine or Buchach, Ukraine & that would be Galicia. Good luck!

Krakow City is in Galicia area too. I guess Krakow is very famous abroad, so if you`re looking for Polish Galicia area. Krakow of this area would be good.
