I'd like to transfer to a school in the other city. Is it possible to do so without taking any course at the former school, which is indicated in my visa?

You received the F1 visa only to attend the school which accepted you and gave you the I-20. You cannot transfer the visa to another school. You have to return home, apply to the other school, and if you are accepted and get a new I-20 from that school, then take it to the consulate and apply for a new F1 student visa.
Note: if you do not register for classes on time and attend them, your visa is automatically revoked and you must leave the US immediately. No grace period. If you overstay that visa or violate any visa terms, you become ineligible for future visas. Either register and go to the school which accepted you, or go home. It is too late to change your mind now. |
