YES. That is the idea of dual passports. But in other countries, you choose which is more suitable. But one passport per country. Do not enter on US passport and leave on UK passport. |

My children hold both passports. You must by federal law enter the USA only on your American passport. I would say especially now, since they are getting very strict on entry for everyone and anyone. I have enter the UK from other parts of Europe using America passports and they simply said don't do it again. Just carry both. Unless American one has expired and don't want to make the trip and an appointment to London.
If it is just for identification purposes you can use either one, once in the country.
But that's another gripe that we don't need to go into at the moment. |

I think it wont matter,but Americans are kind of weird thinking when it comes about stuffs like this,my brother has Venezuelan passport since our mom is Venezuelan,and Europiums passport since we're from Italy, he use which ever will suit him better at the time lol. look for better resources . |

If you fly out of the USA to the UK use your US passport. If while in the UK you want to go elsewhere before returning to the UK then you can use your UK passport. When you return to the USA then use your USA passport. If you travel out and return to the USA, say you want to go to Argentina, then use only your USA passport. |
