There is no "FBI" here. The nearest is the Serious Organised Crime Agency (SOCA) - as its name suggests, it is interested only in SERIOUS organised crime on large scale, such as drug supply, human trafficking, tax fraud etc.
Other crimes are dealt with by the local Criminal Investigation Dept (CID) of the police force. Each region has its own police force (eg Metropolitan force in London - the "met")
London's CID has several branches interested in serious crime - New Scotland Yard (Flying Squad/"the Sweeney") and Special Branch (mainly into counter terrorism)
Find out the city you need - contact the local police force, and they decide if it is a matter for themselves or for SOCA. |
