She is illegal and you cannot apply for her while she is still here.

If you're a citizen, she isn't illegal anymore. Apply for her US citizenship by right of marriage and her kid also, but you may have to adopt the child. To get a drivers lic in Cali, they are requiring SSNs so that would have to come first thanks to George W. even though SSNs were never meant for that purpose. |
