I am an Romanian citizen and I want to knew if I need touristic visa if I want to visit Thailand ?

I knew from January 2007 Romania is a member of UE and I don't knew which are now the rules for romanian citizen.

For Thailand you need visa.

The internet is not reliable for that information
my hunch is that you don't need visa (I'm Romanian too) but call the embassy

as far as i read, you have to have a visa,but the page i read, has no date on it,
since the European Union?not sure it is still valid?
