I am married to a German RESIDENT holder(Austrain citizen) can i get german citizenship?

We have been married for 08 years(mar 2000) and I have been living in Germany with my husband since Sept 2000.
He is an Austrian citizen, holding a German resident permit and he has been living & working in Germany for 15+ years.
Am I entitled to apply for German citizenship? I am a housewife, and not working in Germany. pls advise.

Yes, after years legal resdiency you may apply for German citizenship at your local AuslÃ¤nderbehÃ¶rde. You have to show that you are able to communicate in German, you have to be in a financial stable condition ( no social benefits allowed - in some regions they even trouble around if you receive Wohngeld )

no , u are not. if your husband has been ingermany and has still not german passport, u cant get a german citizen ship. sorry.
