work, what if I marry him i'm just saying what if i marry him will he still come to usa even those he not working but he have flight money and his passport his family member is helping him out in lagos nigeria, if a zero chance with the tourist visa, what about if i marry him he have being sending me cards and pictures from his country and we talk on the phone all the time and chat online in the morning and night he said he was going to ask his pastor can he help him to get me to come to his country and his pastor have a friend in usa

Ok no that wont work. Its actually hard to get a tourist visa from there to here. Even if you do marry him he will still have to stay there. It wont do any good. youll have to file a k3 visa application for him or do the k1 fiance visa if you want him to come with you and that does take time. But there is no fast way to get him here. I been thru this. |

well, you could certainly do that. however, he wouldn't be able to come back with you. You'd have to return and file an I-130 immigrant petition for him through USCIS. That would take at least a year to process once you've filed it, and between the petition filing fee plus the immigrant visa interview fee about $1,000 altogether. Plus, you would have to file an I-864 affidavit of support and show an income of $18,000 to prove you could support him in the US. |

George is quite correct and if you did marry him then he would have even less reason to return to Nigeria at the end of a tourist visa, and it would be much harder for him to get one without doing what George said.
He needs to show evidence that he has reasons to return to Nigeria. If he married you and you lived in Nigeria that might help. |

If you just marry someone for the sake of bringing them to the US, you risk being put in jail if you are discovered, and having that person banned for life from the US for fraud.
I'd think long and hard about this if I were you. If the marriage is legitimate, great, good luck, but if it's a scam, then you are truly flirting with disaster. |
